The doors to the new Ucluelet Health Centre officially opened on September 22nd, following a long period of anticipation within the community.
Construction took place between spring 2024 and summer 2025 to meet the timeline required for this urgently awaited facility. The project included extensive site preparation and servicing, followed by the construction and interior fit-out of a new two-storey healthcare facility. The project presented several challenges, including a steeply sloped site and typical West Coast weather conditions, both of which required careful planning and coordination throughout construction.
The completed facility is a modern, functional healthcare building crafted with durable materials and high-quality workmanship, ensuring it is well suited to its coastal environment and long-term community use.
